Del Paso Heights Neighborhood Financial Literacy

Monthly Workshops

Please join us!  Greater Sacramento Financial Literacy Group, will be hosting monthly workshops for Del Paso Heights residents in the 95838 zip code area only!

Classes are via Zoom or in person at Highland Community Charter School. Once a month on Every Second Tuesday of the month for 3 months new set of classes start.  June 14th is the first set of classes. Register before June 14th to get in. Class time 7pm - 8:30pm. 


The next set of classes begin again September 13th.

  •  How to do a Spending Personality Assessment (SPA) Review
  •  Develop a budget, a saving plan, an investment plan, and an emergency fund. 
  • Use technology and financial management tools to assist in managing your financial affairs 
  • Learn the importance of debt management with good credit scores.

Benefits

 If you have never done this before, this is a wake-up call for an unforgettable experience. By identifying where you money goes you can separate your needs from your wants. Needs are the things you must have to survive (shelter, water, food). Wants are things you would like to have. Focus on the things you need and set up a special saving account for those items you want.
